This is one of our favorite wood carvings because of its exquisite hand painting and masterful wood carving. It is part of our "Tom Taber" collection...a series of carvings by one of the foremost wood sculpture artists in the world. This carving is one of our Tom Taber master carvings and is an exact replica of Tom's original. The president of our premiere carving company purchased over 200 of Tom Taber's master carvings and was licensed by him to replicate his work. They use the identical carving techniques right down to the same tools, art techniques, and wood Tom Taber used. The Valley Quail is 9" tall, carved from Alder wood, and sits atop a presentation carving depicting a forest floor with leaves. It will make a beautiful addition to any collection.
